EMOTIONAL WORDS
This is Sarah Mclaughlin speaking for an animal shelter. She is telling people about the harm that is done to animals across America everyday, and informs viewers of animal abuse. She encourages viewers to donate money to this organization in order to help build and maintain animal shelters across the country and help fight animal abuse.

REPETITION
The Snuggie is a blanket with sleeves. This product has revolutionized the modern world of comfort and warmth. While it might seem completely idiotic, this product has made quite a large chunk of change in the past year or so. I myself have bought from this company to give out these backward cloak like garbs as gag gifts. Any advertisement for this product will repeatedly say, "Snuggie! The blanket with sleeves!" over and over again.

Apple makes Mac computers. Most people prefer to just use a PC, because they claim it is much easier. This advertisement sets out to prove them wrong. Justin Long is a newer, younger, popular celebrity that stands behind the Mac computer to say that it is easier to use and works better than a PC. The man standing next to Justin tries to act like him and wishes he was as cool, but he uses a PC so he isn't.

Proactive Skin Solution is used to help clear up acne. Celebrities such as Jessica Simpson support the product, saying that it has cleared up their skin and will stand by their statements. Other celebrities have approved of the product that are either models or that are often in the media.

BANDWAGON
This is a smart car. People and companies everywhere are pressuring others to get smart cars due to climbing gasoline prices and tough economical times. Smart cars use much less gasoline than most other vehicles with the exception of scooters and put out less greenhouse gases.

Why? This is a two seater toilet. Its target in the marketing industry is couples who share a bathroom. Now they can share a toilet! I don't know why anyone would ever want to do such a thing, but if they did want to, they can now.
My approval:
FAIL

Power Journal of the Week
Dispute of the Sanitized
They had nothing to say to each other. Maverick hated Contessa with a fiery passion. Contessa had never done anything wrong in her entire life, and it wasn't her fault that everyone liked her much more than Maverick. Contessa was beautiful in the eyes of her kind. Her soft, aloe enriched alcohol left anyone who had come in contact with her completely disinfected and also softened the skin of many.
Maverick could never say the same. He was bland, and smelt funny. His nature was translucent and boring opposed to the lively green, whimsical mood that Contessa emitted. Even the face he was born with was boring. While he was “50% more free” and a “Special Value”, his silhouette was nothing compared to Contessa's. Her warm inviting face, “Germ-X enriched with aloe”, caused many a student to just walk across the room during the middle of class. Even those sitting close to Maverick would leave their seats to enjoy her softening sanitizer.
One day, a student decided that Contessa was too far away from him. He concluded his decision by moving her closer to him. Maverick sat on this very student's desk every day. He watched the student leave the chair and go to her. He was filled with anger and raging emotions. He wished that he could be used and cared about just as much as she. Then the student picked up Contessa and started walking back towards his chair. Thoughts rushed through Maverick's head; angry thoughts. He didn't even know what to do with himself. He wished he could physically move towards the edge and jump onto the floor.
As the student sat down, he placed Contessa right next to Maverick. There are no adjectives in existence to describe the tension between the two. Contessa was innocent and uncomfortable. Maverick was so livid that he couldn't see straight. She said to him, “You know, I don't think I've ever talked to you.” He didn't respond. He didn't know how to. Contessa made eye contact with him and told him something that would forever change his outlook on life. “You seem really interesting. All the other sanitizers talk about how you're completely different and unique from the rest of us. I bet it's nice not having people move you around or bother you all the time. I wish I was like you.”
Never before had Maverick felt such a sensation. Contessa had secretly longed to be like him all along. “I always thought that I was boring and bland compared to you,” he said as he looked down at the ground in front of her.
She was shocked, “No! You're the coolest bottle of hand sanitizer ever! I bet you could have whatever you want, whenever you want!”
The days that pursued where wonderful for Maverick. He was always much more than a “Special Value” to everyone, even though he didn't know it.
